Dune Duo 4K được trang bị bộ chuyển đổi số – tương tự ES9018K2M 32bit giống như chíp DAC của Popcorn Hour A500 với công nghệ HyperStream và Time Domain Jitter Eliminator với độ động +127db DNR và -120 db THD+N (độ biến dạng toàn phần + nhiễu). Một trong những tính năng nổi bật nhất của chip ESS SABRE32 đó là công nghệ Time Domain Jitter Eliminator độc quyền, với khả năng loại bỏ gần như hoàn toàn jitter ở đầu vào mà ít có sản phẩm cùng loại có thể làm được.

Dune Duo 4K tích hợp cổng tín hiệu XLR Output

Dây tín hiệu cân bằng (Balanced Interconnect): có ba lõi dây và sử dụng đầu nối kiểu XLR. Nó thường dùng cho các thiết bị có đầu vào và đầu ra cân bằng. Đây là loại dây tín hiệu phổ biến hơn, có khả năng truyền tín hiệu ổn định và chống nhiễu tốt hơn so với dây tín hiệu không cân bằng. Các loại dây tín hiệu này thường sử dụng dạng đầu cắm XLR (hay còn gọi là đầu cắm canon). Đây là điểm giống với Sản phẩm cao cấp Popcorn Hour A500 Pro

Dune Duo 4K giải mã âm thanh Dolby Atmos 3D xuất sắc

Các hệ thống âm thanh vòm Dolby Surround 5.1 và 7.1 trước đây là hệ thống-dựa trên-loa. Cụ thể như trường hợp muốn tạo ra cảm giác có ai đó sau lưng người xem, người làm phim sẽ “thổi” âm thanh cho loa phía sau họ. Dolby Atmos khác biệt với các hệ thống âm thanh vòm 5.1 và 7.1 trên, là hệ thống-hướng đến-đối tượng. Nó tạo ra một không gian âm thanh 3 chiều (3D). Hiện nay có dòng Amply AV Receiver Denon đang đáp ứng rất tốt công nghệ Dolby Atmos 3D

Các thiết bị A/V receiver đời mới bắt đầu hỗ trợ Atmos, chúng nhận biết các số liệu metadata có trong tập tin nguồn phát, chuyển nội dung âm thanh đó đến toàn bộ hệ thống loa tại gia của bạn. Và bạn sẽ cần đến Dune Duo 4K để xử lý những bộ phim hỗ trợ Atmos như thế này.

Dune Duo 4K tích hợp cổng USB Audio Input

Tuy có sức mạnh của DAC ES9018K2M nhưng Dune Duo 4K không có đầu đọc đĩa CD sẽ khiến nhiều fan của CD Player buồn .Trong một option của Dune Duo 4K, bạn sẽ thấy một cổng USB audio input ở mặt sau máy, giúp kết nối đến các nguồn phát khác như CD Player, HTPC, v.v… Phần âm thanh sau khi “đọc” sẽ được chuyển qua DAC trên Dune Duo để xử lý và chuyển ra loa qua cổng Audio. Đây là một bước cải tiến mới của Dune HD vì ngày Dune ra thì hiện nay chưa có một hãng đầu phát nào tích hợp USB Audio vào trong sản phẩm.

Những năm gần đây, truyền tải và lưu trữ video càng trở lên phổ biến hơn do một số yếu tố như giá thành các sản phẩm liên quan như máy quay video HD, TV màn hình lớn, các thiết bị lưu trữ… đang giảm rất nhanh.
